To the other 37 by Linda (Hook) Lovelett

To the other 37,

In 74 I graduated in home ec. ed. I then went on a mission to Tonga for 7 1/2 months as a health missionary....I finished the last 9 months of my mission in Oregon as a proselyting missionary. I had to meet and teach a certain family.

Then I went back to the Y and worked on a masters in early childhood ed. Instead of doing my thesis, I moved to Washington, were I met my husband whom I married 25 years ago. We have 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls.

The oldest 2 are boys. Each have served the Country in Baghbad. I'm sure am glag I can relate better since I was there. My next two are girls; my oldest is going into film editing. The next daughter wants to go into Bio-Techical-Engineering (maybe she will help find a great cure for some disease; like mine). My 3rd son is a freshman in high school and still is trying to figure out what he wants to do. My youngest daughter is now ten. I was diagnosed with MS the day before her 1st birthday.

4 years ago I entered a nursing home. I have been in 5 different places; shairing the Gosple with many. This is my last area of this "mission". We are now in the process of remolding our home so I can live at home again.

One of my favorite memories from the trip was when I was able to observe Brother Meservy.
He was viewing for the first time the artifacts in the Iraqi museum that he had studied for many years.

I will always remember how tactful Brother Berrett was and how cheerfully Brother Meservy woke everyone each morning.

Linda
